TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions periodically.

THE CONTRACT BETWEEN US 
By confirming your booking and by paying a deposit you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

PAYMENT
Fees are charged per day and include day of arrival and departure.

Minimum boarding fee of three days off peak (Nov-March) Five days during peak times (April-Oct).
Deluxe Suite minimum stay seven days.

Double room rate is charged on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

A non-refundable or transferable deposit of three days is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

The balance of the booking fee is payable at check-in and can be made by card or cash.

If you make a change to a booking less than 14 days prior to arrival and the number of days is less than originally booked, you will still be charged the full amount of the original booking.
If you collect your cat before the end of the period booked, you will still be charged for the full period.

CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be made in writing, preferably by email.  Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the booking start date will incur the full booking charge.  An invoice will be issued for the cancelled booking.  If you have travel insurance you may be able to claim.

VACCINATIONS
All cats must be vaccinated against feline infectious enteritis, feline herpesvirus and feline calcivirus.
Proof of vaccination is required upon check-in.

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
Please ensure your cat's flea and worm treatment are up to date prior to arrival.  If fleas are found a minimum charge of £50 will be payable, this will cover admistering a treatment, spraying of the pen upon departure and additional cleaning. 
You will be notified in advance of any treatments given.  

Owners must inform us at the time of booking and arrival of any medical history which may affect the cat's stay, including any pre-existing or recurring medical conditions.

Medication: Whilst we're happy to administer most medications, please call prior to making a booking to discuss it with us.
We will not be held responsible if we are unable to administer your cats medication during their stay with us.

All cats over 6 months must be neutered or spayed.

If your cat should be unwell during their stay with us, we will try to refer them to your vet, if that is not possible our emergency vets will be used instead. 
We will always attempt to contact you or your emergency contact first.
All the above will be undertaken at the owners expense and any fees will need to be settled on collection.

Cats are boarded at the sole risk of the owner and whilst every care will be taken, Hillsborough Cattery cannot be liable for illness, injury or death of any animal in their care.
If cats are not collected within 14 days of departure date and no communication is received from the owner, a decision to re-home the cat will be made at the cattery owner's discretion.
