Boarding Requirements

  • Vaccinations
All cats must be vaccinated against feline infectious enteritis, feline herpesvirus and feline calicivirus.
If your cat has not been vaccinated before, or their vaccinations are out of date and they require a restart, you'll need to allow at least 4 weeks to get a new course of vaccinations completed before arrival.

  • Neutering
All cats over 6 months of age must be neutered or spayed.

  • Flea Treatments
Please ensure that your cats flea treatment is up to date prior to them arriving at the cattery (even if they are house cats), any cat arriving at the cattery with fleas will be treated and the owner charged a minimum fee of £50, this will cover the cost of a suitable treatment, spraying of the pen upon departure and additional cleaning.  Supermarket bought flea treatments ie Bob Martin products and flea collars are not acceptable means of treating your cat as they are ineffective!
If you use Frontline plus flea treatment please be sure to check your cat thoroughly before bringing them into the cattery as that particular brand of treatment has not always been effective.

  • Medical Conditions
If your cat has a medical condition or requires medication you must inform us of this at the time of booking so we can assess whether we are able to board your cat.

Your cat must arrive in a secure carrier.
